About Us

Urban Farmers Sustainable Concepts Organization Inc. (Urban Farmers PH) is a social enterprise registered as a non-stock, non profit organization that nurtures unused public spaces inviting people to discover that farming is enjoyable, doable, and transferrable.

In 2021 after establishing the project Farmer in Chief Louie Gutierrez took the course in Social Enterprise with Kai Hockerts at the Copenhagen Business School. Through his learnings, the project has enormously benefited and inspired more Filipinos to support Philippine agriculture. Also by winning the grand prize at the ImpaktWISE Awards more partners and volunteers came in to support the organization and its initiatives.

To date, it has several ongoing projects including Urban Farmers of Bel-Air, BGC Community Farm, NLEX Farm, Partnership Activities to set up Public School Vegetable gardens in Makati and Taguig areas, Bel Air Park Farm, and the Composting Facility in Nepa Q-Mart.

We aim to demonstrate together with our partner companies, groups, sponsors, and volunteers that it is possible to pursue agriculture in the city and harvest your own healthy produce in your backyard by showcasing a wide variety of herbs, vegetables, and other agricultural products for the local community.
